Autumn's in the air. Ooo I'm feelin' it. Ima sucker for a pumpkin patch,
a carnival & the FerrisWheel. Always the girl with the fabulous cashmere sweaters...yeh, fall & football games kinda make my day. As much as I love the leaves turnin' & the crisp air blowin' I can definitely tell you that Summer'09 will go down in history as a FAVORITE Time. Whoa & that's a big statement coming from me, my lovies. No..wait...uh, scratch out the word big...More like Monumentally Huge style statement. Monumental is a good word. Don't you think?
I was once accused by a former friend of living my life "as if in the movies" Oh how he scorned the idea of such frivolty. Ofcourse that's when I knew he had to go. Life is entirely too short to not create our own movies. Every moment is a treasure worthy of a film. Don't you agree? And I'm far more concerned with an oscar performance in the movie of my LIFE than any flick I've seen on the big screen. And Really don't you think the movie begins whenever we actually step OUT of the theatre?? It's the day to day deal. Choosing to sift through the mundane, ordinary & the hard to deal with Garbage that gets dumped upon us....sift sift sift...sift thru it & down...down to the passion. Dust that bliss off & get your dancin' shoes on. Guarantee you. It's there. It's waiting & it might be hard to recognize at first, so Oooo be careful what you throw away.

My favorite road story of all time? Loading out the band on stage & a group of guys asked me which member of the band I was "with" & if I had been their 'Groupie" for long.
At first I was offended but then I realized I was sportin' the RockerGirl short dress & stockings why not have some fun with it? So I told them what they wanted to hear..went along with many sordid details of Groupie Fiction (much to their liking) & then LATER when the show began? Yeh I unleashed the humiliation with a fierceness as only a girl with a microphone in front of hundreds can do. I only remember 3 bright red faces exiting the building stage right & many jeers. Oh & a fabulous bouncer named BOSS. Ahhh Good times. ;)
