Fabulously Knee Deep in the Merry Month of May. Truly, I
am loving umbrella time with sweethearts under gorgeous spring showers but
I must admit I am ready for a little more sunshine. Excited to
rediscover sundresses & short skirts in bright floral patterns hiding in the
very back of my closet & dusting off sandals & flip flops for showing off
newly painted toes..let's get this Summer thing on a Roll!:)

Conversations with a new friend recently brought about a most intriguing question when she asked, "What is the most amazing thing anyone has ever said to you about your music or your band?" Great question filled with positivity & sincerity. My mind bounced around like an out of control spinning top, rushing through moving scenes & moments & laughter & messages & letters & things spoken & unspoken & hugs & gorgeous acts of kindness & beautiful words of encouragement & honestly?? It was quite impossible to answer. Too much, too many amazing things to ever settle on just ONE. We laughed at how very fortunate I must be & at my inability to draw out anything resembling a real answer. I continued to ponder the question throughout the evening & suddenly the "Aha!" moment. The most amazing things said to us about anything in this life? Well I think it absolutely must be the things we say to ourselves. Internal praise (or lack thereof) is the voice we hear loudest even when the roar of the outside world is deafening. So..the answer is ME !! Myself saying to me, "keep doing what you love as long as you love it with all your heart". Yeah, ok, I haven't told her yet, maybe I'll just make up something much more glam like "Dave Grohl said we ROCK!" ;)
