you turn me upside down. Can't really imagine a better summer than this
one has been so far. Creative energy off the charts, amazing new music, ridiculously
fabulous new friends. And the Muse tracked me down & put a spell on me. A spell
I cannot resist. Thinking today about words. I definitely have a love affair with them.
And at times maybe it's more of a LoveHate relationship. Words make some moments so much shinier than they truly are & by the same token? They can STRIP away a magical moment like paint thinner across a rare piece of Honduran Mahogany. In 2seconds flat. Yeh, I guess fabulous & fiendish all at the same time. Maybe that's the enticing lure? The dramatic ebb & flow of our lives wrapped in words.
A few years ago a friend told me that he was quitting everything to wash dishes in a French Cafe & find himself writing poetry. It still resonates in my heart & mind. This idea of absolute freedom. However, I think it may have been the way he said those words which was much more powerful. Yeh...W O R D S . I am passionately in love with you.
And to all those washing dishes & workin the day job to follow your dreams?

Crushin' It With Class
Thinking about Life today & how true it is there simply are NO accidents.

It's not only chic to the extreme but its also funky fun frills & walls full of vintage cowboy boots in my size & shape Do not go here with me unless you are fine with packing a sack lunch for the adventure. Vintage Buttons make my day a bit brighter. I have kept many buttons from old clothing over the years. Some of them quite personal & some of them from relatives & friends. They remind me of moments. Magic is made in the moments no?
