FALL is Fallin' All over!! You feel it? I'm feeling it & loving the rush of something NEW in the air. And of course breaking out my favorite faux Leopard Jacket & Grandpa's cardigans.
My vintage flavor for life & ridiculously keen memory make it tough sometimes for me to let go & grab onto newness. I'm definitely working on it & getting better at it..ok , I think I am anyway.
So bring it Fall!! Snow flurries & all. Speaking of newness & new thoughts...
Maybe life is divided into 3 categories. The Controllable. The Non Controllable & The Outta Controllable. I always believed the controllable aspect was the most rewarding. Makes perfect sense right? Well, I'm currently rethinking that one. Oh yeh, of course, it is the warmest, the fuzziest...so familiar...so last winter's fleece pullover...so understood. But whoa & Wowza how blind can a girl get? I mean the more I open my eyes?? The more I truly see....the true beauty of life, art, poetry, music & motion? It's derived from the Non Controllable. How else do we learn to JUMP? How else do we encounter the things which stir the spirit so deep.. unless we're forced by something so far out of our control that we never see it coming? And far beyond that? (& I say far in such a lightweight manner but mean it in an EPIC way such as the distance between planet Earth & Saturn) Enter The OUTTA Controllable. OH man It's like being paid for an extra scoop of soft serve strawberry on your waffle cone at Haagen Dazs, minus the guilt. The Outta Controllable ?? Well it's just what is says " HOW the heck did I get HERE?" & ohhhh yes for good, for bad, for worse, for whatever ? It's gotta hold on you. No proven scientific way to deal with this one. No litmus tests in the workings. Just better hold on tight & enjoy the scenery. You're in it.

I have a Crush on handing the KEYS over. No, not a drinking thing..just an "I don't like to drive & I would rather talk your ear off about things I think are fabulous while you drive me around like a real pro" sorta thing. This works best when given to gorgeous ones who are great with direction & have immense patience.
GREASY Spoon Diners. Ok sure they can be funky & terribly unhealthy.

AIR HOCKEY! Yess. I am horrible at it, even after logging in thousands of
hours of AIRNESS while on the road. I still adore it & I highly recommend playing with someone
sweet enough to Let You WIN!! But make sure they don't let you know this up front.
